I know that some people are big fans of B&W photography, but it does very little for me. Too blah. If I wanted to look at grey bodies, I would go to the morgue.
That said, using a little imagination to put the color of life back into these men, it's not a bad group. Especially attractive are 2, 3 (=9), 6, 8 and 10 (the incomparable Joseph Sayers). 5 and 7 might be remarkable if more of them were shown. At least the trail sampling that we see here is nice enough in each case. Wide or narrow - doesn't matter to me. What's more important is the substrate -- i.e., whether the abs are muscled (best), lean (good) or flabby (yuck).
