Back in the day (late 70s early 80s) nipple rings were a gay fetish. Is that still the same? Straight men now shave their bodies, a fashion which had its genesis in gay community. Have straight men changed their fashion to include their tits pierced?

ReplyDeleteEveryone is so enraptured of the Star-of-David wearer that they are ignoring your question about nipple piercing. So I'll take up the slack. My take is that it never was a gay monopoly. The practice was popularized by Tommy Lee and Lenny Kravitz, neither of whom is gay. The first guy to pierce his nipples whom I knew personally was decidedly straight.
