TREASURE TRAIL 2020

Greetings to you all in 2020!  A new decade.  This blog starts its third decade.  We started in 2009.  At the time, blogs were all the rage.  I could not understand the concept.  I wasn't sure what the meaning or purpose of this new way of communication.  Julie and Julia, a remarkable book and film had brought the blog concept to the masses.  I relished the concept and fell in love with the book. And then I saw the movie that starred, Meryl Streep and Amy Adams.  It was based on a real blog by Julie, who in a time of life change, endeavored to cook every recipe from Julia Child's cookbook.  She recorded her cooking triumphs and travails in a blog which was a paeon to Dame Julia (if she's not she should be).

So I decided to experiment and start my own blog as a way to learn and discover.  I chose a topic that I thought was unique and interesting.  And not too intimidating.

And the blog is still here thirteen years later.  And our preferences for male beauty are STILL in the minority.  If not more than ever.

This first specimen of our second decade is a long, thin, and windy beauty.  Those of you who have been here a while know this male body type really gets me going.  Tall, lanky, fit, thin and hirsute but not too.  A tall drink of water they used to say, way back in the day.

We admire all types of men here.  As long as they are quasi-natural.  I little bit of manscapping is good.   I have always found that particular aspect of a man's body to be uber erotic:  the TREASURE TRAIL (TT).

Our mission statement remains as timely, contemporary after a decade.  And so I'll show it here again:

THE TREASURE TRAIL--A CAVEAT

This blog site is intended to be a study of the beauty of the male form, particularly that most visually erotic and enticing area, the treasure trail.

It is difficult in this day and age to compose such a study because the current male ideal is a shaved, non-hirsute facsimile of real masculinity. Searching for photographs of the treasure trail is a hunt in and of itself because it seems most men these days are shaving everywhere. (If you must shave please leave your trail........trim it if need be but don't obliterate your most enchanting spot!)

This is not intended to be a blog about hairy chested men. It may seem so only because so many men either shave their chest or don't, so the only photos you can find seem to be one or another. We search to find a balance of naturally smooth chested guys with a natural treasure trail.

It is the philosophy of this blog that the male form is exquisitely beautiful in all of its infinite forms, which are well illustrated through this blog's photographic study.

We encourage anyone to submit photos for inclusion on this photo study or other material. Comments are welcomed on the subject of the treasure trail. Speak to us!

  1. It is such a shame that in an age where people are told they can be themselves, that men (and women) are constantly held to a standard of physical acceptance. As you say men have to shave everything off in order for the "yuk hair" brigade to not be offended.

Be who you want to be, be it for yourself and not for the acceptance of others. A life lesson I learnt in order to accept who and what I am!

Sorry went off on a tangent there! The guy in the photo is exceedingly hot tho! Loving those hairy legs too :P

  2. Great specimen from the top down, to wit: Love the facial hair; great pecs, nipples, and chest hair spread; nice abs, belly hair, and belly button; and follow the treasure trail to that generous and lucious bush forest. And yes. . . love the hairy thighs, too. I'd relish firing a cum shot salvo into that TT. . . Oi. . . Thanks for the post!!!
